    Hepatitis is a viral disease, which commonly called, jaundice. Hepatitis-A is called, infectious epidemic hepatitis or epidemic jaundice. The virus gets enters via the oral route and multiplies in the epithelial lining of intestinal tract and finally reaches to liver, kidney and spleen. Hepatitis-B is caused by hepatitis-B virus. The virion consists of double stranded DNA molecule surrounded by nucleocapsid. Hepatitis-B is also called transfusion hepatitis or serum hepatitis or serum jaundice. Transmission of HBV takes place through semen, saliva, veginal secretion of infected person to healthy person.
