    A)  Cortex

    B)  Epidermis

    C)  Endodermis

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Laticiferous glands are found in cortex. These glands may be of two types i.e., latex cells or non-articulate latex ducts and latex vessels or articulate latex ducts. The function of the two are same but they differ in their nature and morphology. The latex is formed in laticiferous glands. The latex is a viscous fluid and colloidal in nature. Many substances like sugars, proteins, gums, alkaloid, rubber etc., remain suspended in the matrix of watery fluid.
