    Solution :

    We have, \[{{i}_{b}}=\frac{5-0.7}{8.6}=0.5\,mA\] \[\therefore \]  \[{{i}_{c}}={{\beta }_{ib}}=100\times 0.5\,\,mA\]                 = 50 mA By using                 \[{{V}_{CE}}={{V}_{CC}}-{{i}_{C}}{{R}_{L}}\]                 \[=18-50\times {{10}^{-3}}\times 100\] = 18 - 15 = 13 V
