    B)  1 and 2 are correct

    C)   1, 2 and 4 are correct

    D)  1 and 3 are correct

    Solution :

Fertile spike?Ophioglossum reproduces by means of spores which are formed within sporangia. The latter are borne on a fertile \segmeni which projects from the leaf near the junction of the petiole and lamina. This sporangiferous fertile segment is known as fertile spike. Sporangiophor?Equisetum is a homosporous  pteridophyie. The spores develop within   sporangia   borne on sporangiophores which are aggregated into a compact cone or strobillus. Synangium?Pstlotum. reproduces by means of spores produced in sporangia borne at the distal end of the dichoiomously branched aerial shoot. Sporangium is a triiobed structure in which each lobe has a spore sac with numerous spores. Such a sporangium formed by a group of two or more spore sacs is called synangium.
