                     The plants exhibiting Calvin cycle are respectively called \[{{C}_{3}}\] plants. It is also kown as reducting pentose - phosphate cycle. Calvin cycle is uncommon in cereals. The \[{{C}_{3}}\]type of carbon reactions occur in the stroma of chloroplasi. This \[{{C}_{3}}\]pathway is also called Calvin cycle after its discoverer, Melvin Calvin who received Nobel Prize for discovering this pathway.
