    Solution :

                     Critical angle \[C={{\sin }^{-1}}\left( \frac{1}{\mu } \right)\] So, for the medium having least refractive index\[(\mu ),\]critical angle will be largest. Hence, the medium of refractive index 1.40, will have largest critical angle.
