    C)  2 and 4 are correct.

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Mitosis is also called somatic division because it occurs during formation of somatic or body cells. Mitosis occurs in two steps karyokines and  cytokinesis. Karyokinesis is the stage of nuclear division, which is continuous bur divided into    four stages?prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Cytokinesis is the division of cytoplasm of a cell undergoing karyokinesis to form two daughter cells. It begins towards the middle of anaphase and is completed simultaneously with the completion of telophase.
