    Solution :

Capitulum or head inflorescence is a characteristic feature of family-Asteraceae or Compositae. The main axis or peduncle becomes flattened and is termed receptacle. It bears numerous sessile, bract containing centripetally arranged flowers or florets. At the base of the receptacle, a whorl of bracts is also present which forms the in volucre. So, a single visit of insect is sufficient for pollination. Flowers are brightly coloured and usually scented to attract the pollinators.
