    Solution :

                     Axile placentation occurs in multicarpellary syncarpous ovary. Placentae are arised from the central axis which bear ovules. eg, China rose (Malvaceae), Solanum nigrum (Solanaceae). Basal placentation occurs in unilocular ovary. It bears placenta at the base, which contains a large ovule, eg, sunflower (Asteraceae), Ranunculus (Ranunculaceae).
