                     Spherical body attached to chromosome in nucleoplasm is called nucleolus. It was discovered by Fontana (1781) and described by Wanger. The term 'Nucleolus' was suggested by Bowmann (1840). Nucleolus consists of RNA (ribonucleic acid) and proteins. It takes part in the synthesis of ribosomes.
