    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Translocaiion is the movement of organic nutrients (i.e., food) from the region of source or supply to the region of sink or utilisation. Translocation of food occurs through phloem. This organic food is translocated in the form of sucrose a disaccharide which is relatively inactive and highly soluble sugar. Fructose is a monosaccharide, mainly present in fruits. Glucose is a monosaccharide sugar, mainly by present in blood and grapes. Glucose is used as a metabolic substrate for energy production in living organism during respiration. Lactose is a disaccharide sugar, mainly present in milk. So also known as milk sugar.
