                     Vitamin-K, is essential for clotting of blood. It is obtained from cabbage, spinach and other green leafy vegetables. Vitamin-A is necessary for synthesis of rhodopsin of rod cells and iodopsin of cone cells of the retina of eye. Vitamin-D promotes absorption of calcium and phosphorus by the intestine. It maintains the normal functioning of parathormone. Vitamin-B (B1) serve as a co-enzyme in the conversion of pyruvate into acetyl CO-A and \[\text{ }\!\!\alpha\!\!\text{ -}\]ketogluterate.
