    Solution :

                     The ionic size of\[M{{g}^{2+}}\] is larger than\[A{{l}^{3+}}\]. Both species are isoelectronic, in case of isoelectronic species as nuclear charge increases, attraction force between electron of ultimate shell and nucleus increases which results decrease in ionic size.
