     Chicken pox is a contagious and fomite (personal objects) transmitted viral disease, caused by Varicella zoster, a DNA containing virus. Chickenpox is more common but less severe in children of upto 10 years and severe but rare in adults. After childhood, this virus may remain inactive in a person?s nerve cells. It is reactivated later in life, it causes painful skin condition known as shigles. Polio, rabies and AIDS are caused by RNA containing enterovirus, rabdovirus and retrovirus respectively.
