     Insulin is a hormone secreted from cells of endocrine part of pancrease. It maintains normal blood sugar level by promoting glycogenesis (i.e., synthesis of glycogen from glucose) and lipogenesis (formation of lipids)                 In muscle and liver it stimulates gycogenesis and in liver and adipose tissue it stimulates lipogenesis and increases utilization of glucose- Gtucagon is secreted from cells of endocrine pan of pancrease, it stimulates glycogcnolysis (i.e., breakdown of glycogen into glucose).                 Androgens and progesterone are secreted by testes and corpus luteum.                 Androgenes are responsible for development of                 secondary sexual characters in male and progesterone is responsible for maintenance of                 pregnancy.
