     Cancer is abnormal and uncontrolled growth due to uncontrolled division of cells and formation of a tissue mass known as tumour So abnormal growth of the tumour in cancer is due to abnormal and uncontrolled mitotic division of cancer cells.                 Those substances, which produces cancer  known as carcinogens e.g., Coaltar, mustard gas, X-rays etc.                 Metastasis is detachement of cancer cells from their origin site to distant sites through blood or lymph.
