    Solution :

                                                                                          Using the relation, \[\mu \gamma =\frac{\mu V+\mu R}{2}\] \[=\frac{1.524+1.514}{2}=1.519\] Now, dispersive power is given by \[\mu =\frac{\mu V-\mu R}{\mu \gamma -1}\] \[\frac{1.524-1.514}{1.519-1}=\frac{0.010}{0.519}\]
