The volume of \[\frac{M}{10}NaOH\] required to neutralise  \[20mL\] of \[\frac{M}{10}NaOH\],, solution is:

    A)  \[40\text{ }mL\]

    B)  \[20\text{ }mL\]

    C)  \[80\text{ }mL\]

    D)  \[10\text{ }mL\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

                    Equivalents of \[NaOH\] = equivalents of \[HCl\] \[{{M}_{1}}{{V}_{1}}={{M}_{2}}{{V}_{2}}\] \[0.1\times 20=\frac{1}{20}\times {{V}_{2}}\] \[{{V}_{2}}=20\times 20\times 0.1=40ml\]
