                    Frankia, is a nitrogen fixing symbiotic bacteria which induces root nodules just like Rhizobium. It is symbiotically amaciated with root nodules of several non-legume plants like casucrina, Alkus,      Rubus etc. It cant fix nitrogen in free-state.
