The velocity v m/s of a particle is proportional to the cube of the time. If the velocity after 2 s is 4m/s, then v is equal to:

    A)  \[{{t}^{3}}\]

    B)         \[\frac{{{t}^{3}}}{2}\]

    C)  \[\frac{{{t}^{3}}}{3}\]

    D)         \[\frac{{{t}^{3}}}{4}\]

    E)  \[\frac{{{t}^{2}}}{2}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    According to question, \[v\propto {{t}^{3}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[v=k{{t}^{3}}\] When \[t=2\text{ }s,\text{ }v=4\text{ }m/s\] \[\therefore \]  \[4=k\,8\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[k=\frac{1}{2}\] So,            \[v=\frac{{{t}^{3}}}{2}\]
