    Solution :

    We have,                 \[y=f\,(\sin x)\] or            \[y=\log \,(\sin x)\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{1}{\sin x}\times \cos x\]                 \[=\cot x\]
