    Solution :

    The organic liquid A is \[{{C}_{2}}{{H}_{5}}OH\] (i) Ethyl alcohol is a colourless liquid with a characteristic pleasant smell, having boiling point \[{{78.1}^{o}}C\]. (ii) \[{{C}_{2}}{{H}_{5}}OH\xrightarrow{cone.\text{ }{{H}_{2}}S{{0}_{4}}}C{{H}_{2}}=C{{H}_{2}}\] (which decolourises \[B{{r}_{2}}\] water and alk.\[KMn{{O}_{4}}\])
