     The voltage \[{{V}_{L}}\]and \[{{V}_{C}}\] are equal and opposite and voltmeter reading will be zero.                 In the circuit \[R=30\Omega \] In the circuit \[{{X}_{L}}=25\Omega \] In the circuit \[{{X}_{C}}=25\Omega \] In the circuit A.C. voltage and frequency =240 volt, 50 Hz    (Given) The value of I is given by from the relation \[i=\frac{V}{\sqrt{{{F}^{2}}+{{({{X}_{L}}\times {{X}_{C}})}^{2}}}}=\frac{V}{R}=\frac{240}{30}=8amp.\]
