    Solution :

                    Let n parts be made thin, each part has resistance\[\frac{{{R}_{0}}}{n}.\] Connecting them parallel gives\[\frac{{{R}_{0}}}{n}\times \frac{1}{n}\Omega \]. \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{{{R}_{0}}}{{{n}^{2}}}=\frac{100}{{{n}^{2}}}=1\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[{{n}^{2}}=100\] \[\Rightarrow \]                 \[n=10\]
