Ophiothrix is an enterocoelic invertebrate i.e. coelom is an enterocoel which originates as pouches of embryonic gut (archenteron). Ophiothrix is a common spiny brittle star with a small rounded central disc and five slender jointed arms, arising from the lower surface of the disc. Sepia is marine form living in shallow water of the warm seas. It is carnivorous in diet feeding on small fishes, crustaceans etc. Sepia is edible and Sepia ink obtained from this animal is used by artists.
