    5th cranial nerve of frog is trigeminal arises from the lateral sides of medulla oblongata which is mixed in nature. IInd cranial nerve of frog is optic nerve. It is sensory in nature, it brings sensory impulses from the retina of eyes to optic lobes through the optic chiasma and optic thalami of diencephalon. Opthalmic nerve is sensory in nature. It brings sensory impulses from the skin of snout in frog and from conjunctiva, cornea, iris and ciliary bodies of eyes. 10th cranial nerve of frog is vagus nerve. It is mixed nerve arises from lateral aspects of medulla oblongata, each vagus enters into the. jugular ganglion of its side.
