    Archaebacteria are heterogenous group of  prokaryotes. These inhabit in extreme condition of environment such as absence of oxygen, high salt concentration, high temperature or acidity. It is supposed that these represent early form of life since these conditions are believed to have prevailad on the primitive earth. Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) are ubiquitous in distribution primarily freshwater quite common on moist rocks or soils forming a blackish crust when dried out. Eubacteria are ubiquitous in distribuntion. These are found in soil, water and air. They are also present in foods, in petroleum, in rubbish in manure, in decaying matter etc. Fungi is a group of eukaryotic, heterotrophic chlorophyll-less organism of diverse form, sizes and physiology. These are found in every conceivable habitat in desert, mountains, living or dead body of animals etc.
