    Echinoderms are exclusively marine and largely bottom dwellers enterocoelous coelomate; triplobiastic animals. Water vascular system of coelomic origin, including Podia or tube feet for locomotion and usually  with  a  madreporite  are  the characteristic features of echinoderms. The molluscs penetrate all habitats, i.e. abyses of sea, coral reefs, mud flats, deserts and forests, river, lakes and underground. The characteristic features are radula and mantle. The porifers are all aquatic-mostly marine and a few freshwater. Presence of Chaonocytes or flagellated collar cells is characteristic feature. Phylum Chordata contains well known vertebrate animals such as fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. They are aquatic (both marine and freshwater) and terrestrial in habitat.
