                     In Rhizopus. asexual reproduction takes place by chlamydospores. In unfavourable conditions, the mycelium breaks in small fragments. Each fragment secretes a thick wall   around   it  and   functions  as chlonydospore.    This   chlamydospore germinates  in favourable condition and grows into a new mycelium.
