                     After removing an alpha particle, the atomic number is reduced by 2 and atomic weight is  reduced by 4 and after removing one \[\beta \] particle the atomic weight remains the same and atomic number increases by one unit.  \[_{Z}{{M}^{A}}\xrightarrow{-\alpha }{{\,}_{Z-2}}{{M}^{A-4}}\xrightarrow{-\beta }{{\,}_{Z-1}}{{M}^{A-4}}\] \[\xrightarrow{-\beta }{{\,}_{Z}}{{M}^{A-4}}\] Hence, the daughter element is \[{{\,}_{Z}}{{M}^{A-4}}.\]
