    D)                 A-3         B-5         C-4         D-1

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

In Tridax, the androecium is polyadelphous i.e., more than two separate bundles of filaments are formed (all anthers remains free). In Dolichos, the androecium is diadelphous i.e., two separate bundles of united filaments (anthers are free) are formed. In Ceiba filaments of all stamens become fused and form a group but anothers remain free. This situation is called monadelphous. In Cucurbita, anthers and filament both become fused throughout the while length. This situation is known as synandrous.
