                     Deuterosomes are a super-phylum of animals. They are distinguished by their embryonic development. In deuterosomes, the first opening (blastopore) becomes the anus, while in protosomes it becomes the mouth. They are also known as enterocoelomates because their coelom develops through enterocoely. The cleavage is radial and indenninate in deterosomes.
