    Sol.         Decrease in atomic number \[=92-89=3\] Decrease in mass number                 \[=232-220=12\] Hence, number of a-particles \[{{(}_{2}}H{{e}^{4}})\]                 \[=\frac{12}{4}=3\] Number of P-particles,                 \[=3\times 2-3=3\]
