    Solution :

                    Vessels and companian cells are characteristic of the angiosperms. During maturity of the vessels the cytoplasm lost and thin end walls disintegrating. Companian cells are special type of parenchyma cells. These cells are living having abundant granular cytoplasm and a prominant elongated nucleus which is retained throughout the life of the cell.
