                    Tissue or organs from an individual of one species transplanted into or grafted onto an organism of another species, genus, or family is known as xenograft. A common example is the use of pig heart valves in humans. An isograft is a graft of tissue between two individuals, who are genetically identical (ie, monozygotic twins). Autograft is the tissue transplanted from one part of the body to another in the same individual. Allograft is the transplant of an organ or tissue from one individual to another of the same species with a  different geonotype.
