    D)  distal convoluted tubule

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Glomerular filtrate contain waste product and essential useful solutes. The absorption of essential useful solute from GF by epithelium of uriniferous tubules is called reabsorption. Proximal Convoluted Tubule (PCT) is the major site of reabsorption of useful substances like organic compounds and salts. The whole of glucose and Ca24 amino acids at least 80% of water, ions of potassium, sodium and chlorides are reabsorbed in PCT.
