    Given, two equal forces P and their resultant is also P. \[\therefore \]  \[P=\sqrt{{{p}^{2}}+{{p}^{2}}+2{{p}^{2}}\cos \theta }\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[p=\sqrt{2}p\sqrt{1+\cos \theta }\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\sqrt{1+\cos \theta }\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{1}{2}=1+\cos \theta \] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\cos \theta =\frac{-1}{2}\Rightarrow \theta =\frac{2\pi }{3}\]
