The equation of a tangent parallel to \[{{T}_{x}}=\]drawn to \[(L-x)\], is

    A) (a) \[=\frac{M}{k}(L-x)g\]

    B) \[{{T}_{x}}=\frac{Mg(L-x)}{L}\]

    C) \[\left( \frac{N}{{{N}_{0}}} \right)={{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{n}}\]

    D) \[\frac{1}{16}={{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{n}}\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Let \[y=x+c\] be a tangent to\[\frac{{{x}^{2}}}{3}-\frac{{{y}^{2}}}{2}=1\]. Then.                    \[{{c}^{2}}=3-2\] \[\Rightarrow \]                               \[{{c}^{2}}=1\] \[\Rightarrow \]                               \[c=\pm 1\] So, the required tangents are \[y=x\pm 1\]
