    \[L={{f}_{o}}+{{f}_{e}}=54\,\,cm\]                 \[|m|=\frac{{{f}_{o}}}{{{f}_{e}}}=8\] On simplification, we get                 \[{{f}_{e}}=6\,\,cm\]and\[{{f}_{o}}=+48\,\,cm\]
