Which one of the following is correct?

    A)  Ohm = farad per second

    B)  Henry = ohm\[\times \]second

    C)  Henry = farad per second2

    D)  Farad = ohm per second

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

As farad\[=\frac{\text{coulomb}}{\text{volt}}\text{=}\frac{\text{ampere}\,\text{ }\!\!\times\!\!\text{ }\,\text{second}}{\text{volt}}\] \[\text{=}\,\,\frac{\text{second}}{\text{V/A}}\,\,\text{=}\,\,\frac{\text{second}}{\text{R}}\,\,\text{=}\,\,\text{second}\,\text{ohm}\] As the dimension of twice is \[\sqrt{LC}\] since, dimension of frequency is\[\frac{1}{\sqrt{LC}},\] so, \[\text{tim}{{\text{e}}^{\text{2}}}\] has the dimension of LC i.e., henry \[\times \] farad = \[\text{tim}{{\text{e}}^{\text{2}}}\]. Similarly henry/ohm has the dimension of time is correct.
