                     Rhizopus   is   a  member  of  class Zygomycetes.   The   sporangium   of Rhizopus is appear to be divide into two regions i.e., outer fertile sporiferous zone and a central sterile columella. The protoplast of the sporiferous zone  cleave mitotically to form dark coloured multinucleate spores.
