                     The chlorophylls are basically chelate salts of magnesium (Mg). The chlorophyll has  a     molecular     formula \[{{C}_{55}}{{H}_{72}}{{0}_{5}}{{N}_{4}}Mg.\]Chlorophyll molecule is ditineuishable into head of size \[15\times 15{\AA}\] and a tail of \[20{\AA}\] length. The head is made up of prophyrin (a tetraphyrrole closed rings derivative) and the tail of phytol.
