    (Atomic mass of\[Ca=40\text{ }g\text{ }mo{{l}^{1}}\]) is [NEET 2020]

    A) 2

    B) 3

    C) 4

    D) 1

    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

[d] 1 equivalent of any substance is deposited by 1 F of charge.
    We have, 20 g calcium
    Number of equivalents \[\text{=}\frac{\text{Given}\,\,\text{mass}}{\text{Equivalent}\,\,\text{mass}}\]
                            \[\text{=}\frac{20}{20}=1\]
    Equivalent mass of \[Ca=\frac{40}{2}=20\]
So, 1 faraday of charge is required.
