    Time taken by stone to touch water \[t=\sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}=\sqrt{\frac{2\times 19.6}{9.8}}=2\,\sec \] Time taken by echo to reach observer \[=2.06-2=0.06.\,\sec \] \[\therefore \]velocity of sound \[\upsilon =\frac{19.6}{0.06}=326.7\,m/s\]
