    Required distance \[\frac{(x+100)18}{10\times 5}=\frac{x\times 18}{8\times 5}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x+100=\frac{5}{4}x\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{4x-5x}{4}=-100\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=400\,\,m\]
