    Solution :

    \[{{x}^{2}}-15x-250=0\] \[{{x}^{2}}-25x+10x-250=0\] \[(x-25)\,\,(x+10)=0\] \[x=25,-10\] Hence,    required value \[=\frac{25}{-10}=-2.5\]
