    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    Clearly there is a difference between both the time is 12 minute. \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{x}{2.5}-\frac{x}{3.5}=\frac{12}{60}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{20x}{175}=\frac{12}{60}\] \[x=\frac{175\times 12}{20\times 60}=\frac{7}{4}\,\,km\]
