    Exp. [a] ?Mission Indradhanush', launched on 25th December in 2014, aims to cover all children by 2020 who are either unvaccinated, or are partially vaccinated against these vaccine preventable diseases. It aims to immunize all children against seven vaccine preventable diseases namely diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, measles and hepatits B by 2020. In addition to this, vaccines for Japanese Encephalitis (JE), rotavac and Haemophilus Influenzae type B (HIB) are also being provided in selected states. A set of four new vaccines will be added soon to the Union Government's ?Mission Indradhanush' project. The announcement was made by the union minister of Health and Family Welfare, Jagat Prakash Nadda. As per the reports, the new vaccines, inactivated polio vaccine, adult Japanese Encephalitis vaccine, Rotavirus vaccine and Measles Rubella vaccine, have been made part of the 'India Newborn' action plan.
