Draw a right triangle in which the sides (other than the hypotenuse) are of lengths \[4\text{ }cm\] and \[3\text{ }cm\]. Now construct another triangle whose sides are \[\frac{3}{5}\] times the corresponding sides of the given triangle.

    Answer:

    Steps of construction-
    (i) Draw \[AB=4\text{ }cm\]
    (ii) Draw \[AC\bot AB\] of \[3\text{ }cm\]
    (iii) Join \[BC\]
(iv) Draw an acute angle at A with 5 equidistant marks
    (v) Join \[{{A}_{5}}B\]
    (vi) Draw \[{{A}_{3}}B'\parallel {{A}_{5}}B\].
    (vii) Draw \[B'C'\parallel BC\].
    (viii) \[AB'C'\] is required triangle.
