(iii) Foreign tourists visit India for Heritage, Medical, Economic, Culture, Business, Adventure Tourism, etc. (iv) It had made easier access in the North-Eastern states and interior parts of Jammu and Kashmir/ Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal. (v) It has become easier now-a-days to transport valuable goods, lifesaving drugs, perishable commodities, mail, etc., to distant places in short time. Thus, it plays an important role for popularizing world class monuments in the world which enhances Indian tourism and contributes in its economy.
